Off-Road Event Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Terrain X Off-Road Event, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:

1. Participation at Own Risk

   Off-roading involves inherent risks including vehicle damage, getting stuck, slipping, mechanical failure, personal injury and other unforeseen incidents. Participation is entirely at the participant's own risk.

2. Vehicle Responsibility

   Participants are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is mechanically fit and suitable for off-road use. Terrain X will not be responsible for any damage, breakdown, scratches, dents, tyre damage, mechanical/electrical issues or other vehicle-related loss during the event.

3. Driver Responsibility

   The driver must hold a valid driving licence and follow all event instructions, marked routes and safety guidelines.

4. No Racing / Speeding

   This is not a race or competition. Reckless driving, unnecessary speeding or dangerous behaviour will not be permitted. Show Your Skill, Not Speed.

5. Recovery Assistance

   Tractor/JCB recovery assistance may be available if a vehicle gets stuck. However, all recovery activities involve inherent risks. Vehicle owners must cooperate during recovery, and Terrain X cannot guarantee that recovery will occur without vehicle damage.

6. Weather & Trail Conditions

   The event is conducted on natural terrain. Rain may create deep mud, slush, water crossings, slippery surfaces and other challenging conditions. Track conditions can change without notice.

7. Safety Equipment

   Participants should carry a first-aid kit, spare tyre, jack, basic toolkit and ensure the vehicle has a suitable tow/recovery point.

8. Passengers

   The registered driver is responsible for the safety and behaviour of passengers travelling in their vehicle. All occupants must use seat belts wherever provided.

9. Alcohol Strictly Prohibited

   Consumption or possession of alcohol during the off-road event is strictly prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Anyone found drinking or driving under the influence of alcohol/intoxicating substances may be immediately stopped from participating for the safety of everyone.

10. Cleanliness & Waste

    Participants must not litter anywhere on the property or trails. Plastic bottles, food wrappers, cans and other waste must be disposed of only in designated bins. Please leave the trail cleaner than you found it.

11. Photography & Video

    Photos/videos may be captured during the event and may be used by Terrain X for social media and promotional purposes. Participants who do not wish to appear should inform the team before the event.

12. Event Changes

    Terrain X may modify, close or restrict any trail/obstacle due to weather, safety concerns or site conditions.

13. Acknowledgement

    By registering and participating, the participant confirms that they understand the nature and risks of off-roading and agree to follow Terrain X event rules and safety instructions.
